OK, normally I don't give sandwich shops a 5-star but this one has me smitten after a couple of visits of rating hesitation. Where to start? Friendly family-run business. Small yet personal feeling to dining in. They serve Boars Head meat. Their menu is large and the sandwiches are delicious. I've had their moster bagel sandwich (I can't remember it's name but the owner's son created it) and several sandwiches. The Cuban and the owner's other son's creation, the Ryan's Titanic Deli Sandwich are faves here. My only recommendation for this place is to make a more legible sandwich menu sign inside. There's just so much, and it's jumbled in no particular order (save "hey, there's a spot there to write this one in") that you have to really search it to find what you want sometimes. Also, they give a military 10% discount!

These are not just the best hash browns in Brevard County. These are the best hash browns I've ever had. Seasoned with rosemary, warm and soft on the inside and delightfully crispy on the edges. Breakfast is served all day. Both the spinach and pepperoni eggs are excellent, but the standout is the potato pocket. Perfectly fried eggs over cheese and strips of bacon, wrapped in those heavenly hash browns. The potato pocket is worthy of a road trip. I can't speak to the sandwiches since our family is gluten free, but they make an amazing gluten-free peanut butter chocolate chip cookie. Gina is a masterful chef and her husband Bob makes excellent coffee. He's also happy to bend your ear with tales of work at the space center and high performance sports cars (like the one that gave the 600 HP breakfast sandwich its name). Both sons can be found working in the kitchen (one of whom is himself a chef), so you can feel good about supporting a local, family-owned business.

Friendly service with home made goodness. That said its over priced as I eat all over Florida and have had great homemade at 2/3rds the cost.

When you are looking for lunch and don't want to eat precooked, packaged, fried, fake food be sure to stop in this cozy little establishment! Nice coffee bar with seating - will be perfect when we go in again for a specialty coffee or cappuccino and some great homemade food! I'm thinking biscuits and sausage gravy for breakfast! They use fresh local ingredients. Items are made from scratch. Thank you Jean and Gina for a great lunch! I can't wait to come back and try the eggplant parm!

The staff is so warm and welcoming you immediately feel like part of the family. The potato pocket with homemade sausage was to-die-for! The pumpkin latte made with pumpkin purée was not like those typical chemical filled drinks it was fall in a cup. We also had the strawberry banana smoothie which was so thick you could barely get it through the straw. Everything was homemade and unlike any chain restaurant you go to. It is truly a hidden gem. I can't wait to return.

Don't let the outside fool you or the fact the restaurant is in a little strip mall the food is wonderful and service is great. Try the potato pocket it is out of this world!!

This has to be one of the best breakfast/lunch/dessert places in Merritt Island. Run by some of the nicest people ever!! I had the potato pocket. This was an omelette but with the eggs inside hashbrowns. It was recommended by the waitress and at first I was questioning my decision to try it. The potato pocket was one of the best breakfast items I have ever had. The hash browns were crispy on the outside, the egg was perfectly cooked on the inside, and they made the bacon extra crispy just as I requested. My grandmother had the sausage and peppers sub and said "I couldn't make it better at home!" We decided to splurge on dessert because it was homemade. We ordered the German chocolate cake and it was the best German chocolate cake I have ever had hands-down. We will definitely be back and we will make Gina's a regular stop.

The staff is super friendly and perfectly helpful and attentive. The food was amazing. The potato pocket is to die for. The Cuban isn't your typical authentic Cuban but it is still delicious. We're already planning what to eat on our next visit!

Have to agree with the negative reviews on this place. Kitchen Service is very, very slow for a place that advertises itself as a breakfast specialist. Coffee takes the cake as the worst I have ever had...on 4 continents. Food is average at best and there is no charm of a family run establishment as suggested. Hard to give 1 star

Delicious!!! Hubby had homemade blueberry pancakes I tried the potato pocket. Loved it. This is our new breakfast fav. Great service very friendly, gluten free menu available. Little pricy but fresh herbs and organic are not cheap. Excellent coffee( just had plain) from Guadmala, also organic and smooth.

Gina's is fabulous! My parents and I stopped in to the restaurant for breakfast before going to the Kennedy Space Center. It was a couple miles out of the way, but totally worth it. My mom and I are both Gluten Free and Gina had plenty of options that didn't leave us wanting more. I had the potato pocket (2 fried eggs, bacon and cheese all folded into a hash brown) which was to die for. Mom had grits and bacon and a side of grilled potatoes and red peppers. Dad had an egg and cheese croissant. We all raved about our meals and even considered driving an hour from Orlando to go back the next day for breakfast. Plus, it was a family restaurant and we loved to be able to support small business in FL. Well done Gina!

Beware to not order anything off menu without negotiating price first. The "lox" bagel was $12 because it has a small amount of "premium smoked salmon" A pumpkin spice latte is delicious, and is $6. Coffee and bagel $18. Ouch.

I'm taking this up to five. We've eaten here several times now and just had lunch today. I finally tried the "Titanic Sub." I hadn't ordered it before because the word "Titanic" sounded like it was going to be huge. I ordered it thinking that I would take home half of it for lunch tomorrow. It was an average size sub...but I haven't had anything this good in any deli for...maybe ever. And I love deli sandwiches. The depth of the flavor was fantastic. I didn't want to insult the owner to ask what was going on in this thing, but there's some herbs that really brought everything together. Wow. My wife and daughter had the veggie soup, it looked great and they loved it. Service was not slow today. We were actually heading to Cocoa Village, but there was a craft show and the streets were closed. Not a good sign. So we went to Gina's. Only downside is the iced tea. Still weak and had an odd 'flavored tea' taste. It's not hard to make a good southern iced tea. They need to work on this. I'm still giving it five stars because the food was fantastic and the service was great. But PLEASE make a better iced tea. Even if I liked the flavor, it was weak. Just buy Lipton, you can't go wrong. **addition. Had their cheeseburger yesterday. Hand's down the best burger on Merritt Island. Norman's leads for Cocoa and Goodfella's for Cape Canaveral. Still haven't found the 'best' in Cocoa Beach yet.

Food was just above average. Ordered the homemade sausage ... Was advised that it was $3.95 and that other guests were not happy with the price, but since it was homemade thought I would give it a try. After receiving my food it was obvious why. There were approximately 8 very thin quarter size pieces. The equivalent of a half of a sausage patty. Pancakes were really sweet. Too sweet... No syrup needed. My wife had French toast and bacon. 1 piece of French toast and one piece of bacon $5.95. Like the pancakes the French toast was overly sweet. Not a place I would revisit.

Soo good, pancakes, biscuits and gravy and their potato pocket were all amazing. Fresh, organic ingredients, the pancakes melt in your mouth, sausage is made fresh and you have to try the potato pocket which is hash browns as a omelet shell stuffed with eggs, cheese, and bacon.

Great place, all family owned and operated. Father and son tag team behind the Counter. The whole family are Motorsports fanatics. Really great people! The food was great, a little pricey perhaps for what it is, but cooked well and tasted fresh. My wife and I are glad we ate here. Food was served in about 3 minutes.

Homemade healthy food with service that makes you feel like you are at Mom's house. Second time here and planning to come back for much more. Pleasant atmosphere. The desserts are incredible, but expensive.

Found this place because of great Yelp reviews for breakfast on my recent trip to Florida. Food was all fresh and homemade and delicious! Friendly family owned and operated business, go here!!! Raspberry smoothie was amazing!

This place is in a little strip center and very unassuming. I had the breakfast pocket and it was fantastic. When I go back to that area I will visit that again

This cafe has real ingredients like extra virgin olive oil, real butter, brown eggs, organic produce, Boar's Head meats, and all homemade sauces, food, etc. The atmosphere is great. If you want real breakfast and lunch as well as homemade cakes and pies, this is the place to go!

Out for the STS-134 launch (the second time around, mission accomplished, btw), we stumbled upon this lovely place because of Yelp. It's a GREAT thing we did. Everything here is homemade and everything here is incredible. I had the most perfectly put together omlette in their Californian, with asparagus, onions, and the right amount of cheese, touched off with a dash of salt that brings everything out. The fiancee had some of the greatest potatoes we've ever had, and a lovely meal herself. The prices are absurdly perfect, Gina and her husband who run the place are absolutely lovely, and you simply can't go wrong with a place that puts this much passion into their cooking. It's in a little strip mall not really near anything and not some place you'll just stumble upon, but do yourself a favor and track down Gina's. It's well worth it. (The homemade baked goods are a real treat, too!)

We LOVED this place! My Hubby is very picky and he actually LOVED the pancakes. You must go when you're in town!!!

Had breakfast here for the first time on our way back to Tampa. I agree with some of the reviews with service being slow. But the food speaks well for the place. All homemade and fresh food on your plate. Rosemary scented hash brown is quite unsual but tastes great. Would look forward to eat here again next time I visit Cocoa.

We went to this place thanks to Yelp. We were at the beach for the weekend and wanted to have breakfast other than Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts. The service was a little slow, but we did not mind, we were on vacation. We ordered the Challah french toast, they were awesome. My husband coffee was good, I personally did not enjoy mine, but it was okay, I was on vacation. The only thing is this restaurant was a little pricey, but for a great french toast, we will come back.

This place is wonderful. You will get great coffee. You will get the awesome breakfast that you will not find anywhere else even though they do have the norm. Didn't see it when I order but they have challah French toast and challah breakfast sandwhich! Definitely going back.

Wow! Homemade breakfast! My wife and I were visiting from out of town and looked on yelp for a place to have breakfast. We tried another place that had great reviews in Cocoa Beach and we were extremely disappointed. The food at Gina's was packed with flavor and delicious (cooked by Gina herself!). The eggs, vegetables, and fruit were amazingly fresh. The owners were also very friendly and welcoming. They've got Wifi too.
